Milk barfi /kalakand in instant pot is easy to make with less intervention
Turn on the instant pot to saute mode with normal temperature.
Once it displays hot add 2 tsp of ghee,milk and sugar.Mix it well.
Let the mix keep boiling .Stir it once in a while
Once the milk mix starts to become light brown color, reduce the temperature from normal to low,add rest of the ghee little by little keep stirring .This is when you need to be closer and stir it continuously with close montioring.
Keep stirring until the mixture leave sides.
Grease a tray with ghee and pour the mix immediately.After few minutes cut into squares and enjoy.
Please use crystal sugar i have linked in the post. The powdered sugar doesnt go well.
After pouring into tray if you find the kalakand sticky pour the same into the instant pot and stir it for another 5 - 7 minutes.You will get the right texture.
