Creamy ,delicious and quick indian rice pudding or rice pudding instant pot or rice kheer recipe
Wash the inner pot of instant pot clean and add sugar,milk,sona masoori rice with half cup of water,cardamom powder,saffron to the inner pot.
Turn on the instant pot to porridge mode and set the time as 20 minutes and let the pressure release naturally.
Open the pot and add some cream or half and half for extra richness and use the hand blender and pulse the rice pudding couple of time to get the creamy texture.
Place a small pan in the stovetop and add ghee. Once the ghee turns hot add cashewnuts,pistachio , and raisins. Add all to the Indian rice pudding.
Your rice pudding instant pot is ready to serve.
You can add more or less sugar as per your taste
If needed you can put it in saute mode and stir for few minutes to get more caramel color or even you can do slow cooking.
