Today I decided to make vegan Almond flour burfi instant pot with Costco blanched almond flour in the instant pot and it’s a super hit in my family. Costco Almond flour barfi
Less than 10 minutes to make this almond flour barfi in instant pot
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tbsp water
- 1 tsp clarified butter oil (Vegan)
- few strands saffron (optional)
Instructions

Add sugar, clarified butter(ghee), saffron strands, water in the pot and mix it well. Let everything bind well.

Close the lid, Venting to sealing mode and set for 'Manual/Pressure Cook 4 minutes'.Do a QR(Quick-Release).

Add 1 cup of almond flour to the sugar syrup and mix it well without any lumps. You have to be quick while doing this step.

Grease a plate with clarified butter/oil.pour the mix in the plate, let it cool for 5-6 minutes.

After 5-6 minutes, heat will be bearable, Roll it into a soft dough.

Grease the rolling pin with some ghee.

Roll it to a circle and shape it. Make sure no cracks in the dough.

Can I make Kaju katli instant pot with almond flour?
Kaju means cashew nuts. Almond flour is made of almonds so please don’t confuse Kaju katli with almond katli. But you can definitely make this recipe using instant pot.
Can I substitute coconut flour for almond flour in this recipe?
Yes, you can try substituting substitute coconut flour for almond flour. I haven’t tried this but I’m confident it works.
