Ingredients
- 1/2 cup moong dal
- 1/4 cup chana dal
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup jaggery
- 4 numbers cardamom crushed
- a pinch saffron
- 1 cup milk cow milk or coconut milk or almond milk
- 5 numbers almonds crushed
- 10 numbers raisins
- 1 tbsp ghee/coconut oil
Instructions

Turn on the instant pot 'saute' mode .Once it displays 'HOT' add ghee/coconut oil

Add almonds,raisins and saute for a minute.

Add moong dal and chana dal and roast till it turns light golden brown.

Add 2 cups of water and place the trivet with another pot with jaggery and little water

Close the lid and set 'pressure cook/manual'-10 minutes.Do a natural release.

Turn on the saute mode once again and add the jaggery syrup to the main pot and mix it well.

Add milk,saffron strands and cook for a minute.

Your chana dal kheer is ready to serve.
